Outdoor Channel Gets New Content

The Outdoor Channel said it signed a two-year programming deal with Primedia Outdoors. Under terms of the contract, Outdoor Channel becomes the exclusive home for five of Primedia Outdoors' television properties, including In-Fisherman TV, Guns and Ammo TV, North American Whitetail TV, Professional Walleye Trail, and Primedia's Outdoors Best, the programmer said.

Another Local for DirecTV - DirecTV said it's offering local broadcast channels via satellite in the Columbia, S.C., market. Channels available in the package are: WIS (NBC), ETV (PBS), WLTX (CBS), WACH (FOX), and WOLO (ABC).

NFL Net Debuts in November - The NFL Network will debut Nov. 4 at 8 p.m. Eastern Time. The launch will come at the end of Week Nine of the NFL regular season. DirecTV will carry the channel.
